Why would the Germans have a “women’s orchestra” at an “extermination camp”? By the time the Germans selected the musicians, many of them would have been “gassed” (*cough*) and then they’d have to start selecting musicians again. Oy veh! “Vhy do dey hate us, Moishe? Vhy do dey??” Moishe: “Because we’re a tribe of swindlers and con artists?” “Besides dat, Moishe…vhy the hate, Moishe??” (And why would the Germans tattoo people who were going to be dead in a week? So many questions, but no answers).
