The Trump mandate is real. It’s not fake. He won the election by a landslide. He has a mandate to govern now (and he should use it wisely). In fact, it’s time to declare the Republican Party “dead” — it has done nothing for years. It’s time to create a Populist Party in its place.

If you add up all of the conservative talk radio shows, their audience exceeds the cable news networks by at least a factor of five. Full disclosure: I cut my teeth on Rush Limbaugh. I listened to him on the radio daily for years. I didn’t know what a “conservative” was until he came along, although my family was already conservative and I didn’t really grasp that. They were church-going Republicans. I imagine that most VNNers had that same background.
