Time was, long before industrial revolution, land and its goods, not paper, not even little discs of metal, were wealth. The economy then was simply a moderate and orderly household, a familial village of perhaps 500 persons tops. Time to get back to that, just as the horse should replace the automobile again…

A very good article containing much we can reflect on, but the author completely omits discussion of the racial aspect of the looming crisis. Even putting to one side that most of the Wall Street operatives are Jewish, the most obvious difference between now and 1930’s America is the composition of the worker and farmer population. During the depression era White people constituted perhaps 95% of the dispossessed working class, today we would be hard pressed to reach 60% of the total working population. Even if increasing economic difficulties causes racial identification and some sort of White unity, the elites will throw the Mexicans, Asians, and all the rest against us. They are plannning for and will probably welcome such an outcome.

Hemingway was no fan of the Jews. In his first novel “The Sun Also Rises”, there was a rather annoying Jew character named Robert Cohn, if you’ll remember. The Jews certainly have remembered. You’re right, NdG, the Prairie was over-grazed and over-farmed during the late 1800s and early 1900s, something that led straight to the Dust Bowl. Many parts of the Great Plains never recovered from the Dust bowl, either. And now, many Prairie towns are going belly up, having been totally passed by as a result of the Interstate, the contraction of the railroads, modern agriculture and migration out of the region by young Whites. The buffalo are all gone, as is the prairie grass and the once numerous passenger pigeons. I hope the White Man has learned some valuable lessons.
