The Book of Acts’ account of Paul’s trial in Rome is never described. What happened to him? Was he found guilty? Was he executed? If he was such an important figure in the early Church why doesn’t any early Church writer tell us what happened to him, or to Peter, for that matter? Exactly where were they buried? Somewhere in Rome, presumably? Did any early Christians ever visit their graves? If so, why is no location given?

The Christians expect converts to accept a great deal without any evidence whatsoever. That’s why they are always talking about the need for “faith’. Sure, there’s no evidence for Christ or Paul or Peter or any of the Apostles having ever existed. Sure, we don’t really know anything about Christ. Sure, we don’t really know who wrote what books or letters or when. But all you need is faith. You have to BELIEVE. ‘Cause if you don’t believe, if you don’t have faith, you go to Hell.
