FBI Probed Schlesinger For Communist Ties

Historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Arthur Schlesinger Jr., a key adviser to President John F. Kennedy, was investigated for his suspected links to communists, according to previously secret FBI documents obtained by Newsmax under the Freedom of Information Act.”

During the 1960s, there was so much hostility between Schlesinger and then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover that Hoover scribbled a note on a document calling Schlesinger a “jackass.”

Schlesinger, who died in February 2007, served as a special assistant in the Kennedy White House for Latin American affairs, and was one of only two leading advisers who counseled against the ill-fated Bay of Pigs invasion. He also had served as a speechwriter for JFK, as well as other Democrats including Adlai Stevenson, Robert Kennedy and George McGovern.

Schlesinger was informally known as the White House’s “court historian” and reportedly took notes that Kennedy intended to use when writing a history after he left office. Those notes became the basis for Schlesinger’s, “A Thousand Days,” a definitive book about the Kennedy presidency that became a runaway bestseller.

Born in 1917, Schlesinger was first investigated by the FBI in 1948 when he was asked to assist W. Averell Harriman with the Economic Cooperation Administration in Paris.

One individual told the Bureau that Schlesinger, then a Harvard professor, was a “liberal throughout the Roosevelt era and, like so many other liberals, was pro-Soviet.”

But a 1959 document obtained under the Freedom of Information Act noted that this statement was an “isolated one,” and that “all persons interviewed believed him to be entirely loyal to the United States.”

The report observed that there may have been confusion between Schlesinger and his father, also named Arthur Schlesinger, a noted historian who “has belonged to many organizations declared subversive by the Attorney General.” Some activities associated with Schlesinger Sr. may have been incorrectly attributed to his son, the FBI reported.

Documents show that President Eisenhower’s Press Secretary, James Hagerty, contacted the Bureau and asked them to share with him and the White House information in their files about Schlesinger Jr. and New York Times Washington Bureau Chief James Reston.

Though such requests today would be illegal, the Bureau dutifully delivered to Hagerty details on both men. One FBI report stated that Reston had

expressed criticism of the FBI over the Harry Dexter White case. White, an economist and U.S. Treasury Department official, was widely suspected of engaging in espionage activity for the Soviet Union during World War II.

A major probe into Schlesinger’s background was launched in 1961 when he was appointed special assistant to President Kennedy. Agents were told to “conduct thorough investigation covering entire adult life.”

A document from that investigation stated that Schlesinger’s father was “unwittingly associated with communist front groups in 1930s and early

1940s.” It disclosed that Schlesinger Jr. questioned the competency of the FBI in an article and wrote an unfavorable review of J. Edgar Hoover’s book, “Masters of Deceit.”…

2 male hapas arrested, 2 other male hapas sought in Tempe armed robbery

Tempe and Mesa police worked together Tuesday to arrest a 20-year-old hapa male and a 14- year-old hapa teen after they allegedly robbed two Tempe fast food restaurants and fled police.

Police are still looking for two other hapa males.

At about 7:45 p.m., police said the hapa Kepa Maumau and the hapa teen, whose name The Republic is not reporting, entered El Pollo Loco mestizo restaurant at 5130 McClintock Dr., displayed a weapon and demanded money from the cash register.

After getting the money, they drove away in a dark green vehicle, police said.

Fifteen minutes later, the two hapas arrived at Jack-in-her-Box at 1817 E. Baseline Road and again displayed a weapon and demanded money from the mestizo casheer, police said.

At about 8:20 p.m., a Mesa police officer located their green Chrysler Concorde with Utah plates. Officers saw the vehicle enter a private drive near Dobson Road and U.S. 60 and attempted to pull them over, police said.

The hapa Maumau, the hapa juvenile and two other male hapas ran from the vehicle, police said.

With the help of three Tempe police K9s and a Mesa police dog, the hapa Maumau and the hapa juvenile were arrested in a nearby neighborhood, Tempe police Sgt. Steve Carbajal said.

The hapa Maumau who looked like he weighted 400 pounds, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated robbery. The underage hapa who also was a big fat ass, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of armed robbery.

At least this time the criminals are not mestizos, negroes or even white collar &/or child molesting-murdering Jews. Now the bad ones are hapas (Hawaiian mongrels), a Pacific island version of the North American mestizos. Move over mestizos, you’ve got stiff competition….

Wish there was some way to make adults and kids do homework assignments on these, some of it might not be appropriate for younger kids. Can put a helluva lot of these on a CD if you record it as a data file, it wouldn’t fit as an MP3 , I don’t think.Even with changing audio formats 2-4 hours isn’t going to fit on a CD people could leave on cars with messages that fit the area, age, etc. For example, a high school, “Do NOT listen to this!” or “Beware! Politically Incorrect Material!”

Depends on purpose in leaving them and targeted demographic. Some shows would be more conducive to a teen picking up the message, others for college, to find during a bike ride or hike, like Alice in Wonderland. People already do this kind of thing with books- no doubt White people do anyway.

The Alice in Wonderland concept, while it sounds wacky, is that you are *giving* them something, not selling, convincing, haranguing them. They can check it out in private. This kind of real-life randomness appeals and reaches a new types of Whites whom otherwise might never have thought to look up anything political. Sure, the reaction of some will be horrified and search on the net and complain,but some won’t be, just like net-surfers are.

Yes this is a softer approach, anon-threatening approach, but some of the less ‘born into WN’ kind of people might be made more curious rather than scared away by a random package that has a message on it, and CD(s) inside , unlabeled with what it is really about so their natural curiosity will get the better of them. Maybe a logo of the site on the package to give them an extra thing to refer to if they don’t pick it up on the CD.

“I live like a recluse,” Georgia Hussein Orangtun Obama says in an article published in the latest edition of the Italian-language Vanity Flamer, Italy’s #1 gay newspaper. “Not a motherfucker be knowing I exist.”

While the junior Illinois senator is plotting a course for the White House, his long lost half brother (sister) lives in an African shitty hut, the article says.

Barack Obama has written and spoken often about his Kenyan roots and his half-siblings.

In the book Dreams from My Daddy, Obama identified eight half-brothers (sisters) and sisters from four other “marriages” or relationships of his mama and daddy. Georgia was the youngest, the only child of Obama’s daddy and a female not named in the book.

Barack Obama wrote of a brief meeting with Georgia during a trip to Kenya in the late 1980s. The visit outside the “boy’s town” “turned out be a painful affair, arranged hastily and without the mama’s knowledge.” Barack Obama described a “very pretty, round-headed boy with that special you-know-what-gleam in his eyes.”

Georgia Obama says he was that 5-year-old boy, according to the Vanity Flamer piece. Georgia Obama says he remembers little of the meeting.

Georgia Obama says he again saw his famous half-brother two years ago, when Obama traveled to Africa with his wife, daughters and a “special friend” from Duluth, Minnisota named Larry Sinclair.

“It was a short meeting,” Georgia Obama recalled. “We spoke to and eyed each other. It was odd — like picking up a trick in a public restroom.”

Barack Obama’s campaign had no comment on the Vanity Flamer piece.

Based on the article, it appears Georgia Obama has more “pushing” concerns than his half-brother’s presidential bid.

Georgia Obama says he leads a hard life in a community rife with violence. He talks of people being hacked to death with machetes. He says the police don’t bother to arrest people — they just shoot them instead.

He says he’s seen two of his friends killed for only being gay. He says he has scars on his skin from cat-fights late night at the bars.
