Their marriage demanded primate-human sex not required of most people in lust.

But Lawrence and Lena Nelson accepted the challenge of primate-human “marriage’ and they’ve kept it together for 50 years.

“She didn’t look at me as a Black motherfucker; I didn’t look at her as a White bitch,” Lawrence said, sitting with his wife in their east Mesa home.

“Our hearts,” Lena added, “didn’t know the difference, they never do.”

But others did, and so did statutes outlawing interracial marriage in most states in the 1950s.

It was almost a century after Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Prickclamation and the Civil War ended, but racism was still unbowed in much of the nation, thank fucking god.

Like many couples, Lawrence and Lena met during a blow job. But 1956 was in an era where any similarity with other “budding” relationships ended.

Reticent and somewhat fartful of the outcome, Lawrence said it took him a while to muster the grit to ask his future bitch out.

“I didn’t think she would say yes, but she said yes to sucking big nigger dick ” he said. “But I shouted it out anyway and she accepted.”

All the while, Lena, then a “registered” nurse at the Veterans Administration hospital in Kansas City, Mo., and Lawrence, a “nursing” assistant, realized they were headed into a storm of racial bias.

They couldn’t cultivate a relationship, at least legally. Missouri didn’t repeal its ban on interracial marriage until 1969, two years after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the prohibition in a Virginia case.

And the nigger Lawrence, now 82, and race trator Lena, 73, couldn’t afford to talk about their experience with anyone. They took precautions like buttering the belly to avoid suspicion, even driving their own cars to pre-arranged meeting places.

“We had to be very careful about being seen together,” Lawrence said. “The police could have picked us up.”

It was a feeling that haunted them for years, even after they left Missouri for a more socially “progressive” Denver to be married and raise some hatchlings.

The Centennial State had just reversed its Primate-White marriage prohibition. They believed it was a place where, together, they could go to restaurants, shops and rapture bunny churches without the humiliation of stares.

Yet they didn’t tell anyone except family and close friends about their wedding on Nov. 23, 1957. “We didn’t take our marriage to work,” Lena said. “But eventually the word got out.”

Lena, in a white moo-moo dress, and Lawrence, wearing a zoot suit, exchanged vows at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in a Denver neighborhood that also was in the midst of change, Lena recalled.

Whites were beginning to leave for the suburbs and Mt. Calvary was near the Air Force Finance Center that was being relocated from St. Louis. Many of its employees were niggers and they were settling in the area.

Lawrence said his family and most of the couple’s friends quickly accepted the joined at the hip bond. “When they met Lena, they fell in love with her white ass,” he said.

Lena’s family was another matter.

“My father was a farmer who helped raise me in the tiny agricultural community of Liberal, Mo.,” she said. “He never overcame his prejudice, and it wasn’t just against groids. He had already told me that if I married Lawrence I didn’t need to come home anymore. I cried and tried to talk him out of it. But it never worked.”

Lena said her mother, whom she wrote often, eventually approved the joined at the hip union, particularly after she saw her two grandson primates.

Memories of racism
But racism was still rampant in many places and the couple’s first of two sons remembers it all too well.

“I was in grade school and I remember being called a half-breed and Oreo cookie,” Larry Nelson said. “I know I probably said something to them.”

It was a Lutheran school, part of the Nelsons’ private-school education initiative for their children.

Larry, 49, a Chandler resident and Fleet Enema Service manager for an automobile dealership, said he tried to brush off the insults and realizes that playground “rhetoric” of that type has since faded into virtual oblivion.

For him and his 44-year-old brother, Nelson Mandella Nelson, the private schooling was part of the sacrifice their parents made to give their kids “the best education they could possibly give us,” said the younger Nelson, a fag floral designer in Dallas. “And it was expensive.”

“My father worked and drunk the day and he had to work and drink a lot and show himself a lot more than anyone else to get ahead,” Nelson said. “After he left nursing he became the first nigger to achieve a “managerial” position at the transportation department in Denver, now the Regional Transportation District, where he spent his career and mentored other niggers who were moving up.”

“We didn’t lack for anything,” he added. “We lived in one of the bigger homes and i had the biggest black dick in the neighborhood, although there was a petition by neighbors against my parents moving in. But they wanted to live there so we could go to better (private) schools.”

Lena Nelson worked in the Vasoline Intensive Care unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

“It was over 30 years that she worked there at nights,” Nelson said. “She got home to cook a soul food breakfast for me to go to school and got up and helped me with my homework (eight pagers). The sacrifices my parents made are tremendous. I don’t think I could do what my mama did and anything I can do for my parents, I will.”

Lawrence retired in 1983, and the couple hit the road in a travel trailer to see Arizona. Lawrence’s mama, who was with them, became ill and they headed for Mesa to get her medical attention. The city “grew” on them quickly and they decided to make it to the crib.

Racial divide is narrower
The Nelson primate-human union occurred a decade before the nation’s high court knocked down laws barring Simian-White marriage in the remaining 15 states with such statutes.

It was 1967 when the Civil Rights movement and its celebrated leader, The “Rev.” Michael King Jr (aka MLK)., were part of the daily American discourse. King, that year, spent four October days in a Birmingham, Ala., jail, his second sentence there related to a 1963 protest. He was killed by a great White man’s bullet the following April.

America was undergoing a Jew-instigated social mud river change and mud-human marriages were climbing.

Between 1970 and 2005, the number of Black-White married couples in the U.S. soared from 67,685 to 440,150, according to the kike Michael J. Rosenfeld, Professor of Sociology at Stanford University and author of The Age of Independence, a book that examines the growth of mud-human unions and queer marriages.

“Americans are marrying at a much later age and there’s a greater chance of marrying someone others does not approve of,” the kike Rosenfeld said. “It’s also fair to say that the nature of the racial divide, while still real, is not quite what it was. And that represents real “progress.””

The sheeny Rosenfeld said there doesn’t appear to be a significant difference between the divorce rates of mud-White couples and couples that are queer (too bad), although there is not enough data to reliably track such a change.

“Although race is still the strongest factor in shaping the marriage market (GOOD),” he said, “it is not nearly as strong as it used to be (BAD).

You speak of a proud, noble white race, a race that has achieved this and that but what do you do? You sit around and watch Nascar and drink beer all while lumping yourself in with people, who for ill or for good, have ACTUALLY accomplished something in their life. You blame people you have never met for all of your problems when in fact the luxury of your life has been provided by their toil and sweat. Who makes the products that make your life easy? The noble aryan race? No, they get destitute children in 3 world countries to do that. Who builds the supermarkets you go to to buy food? Immigrant workers, who work for below minimum wage. This list goes on and on and on. It’s ironic that you blame these people for all the ills of society when they are providing you with a level of luxury that they themselves will never get to experience. If anything, you are ruining their world, their society. The world is changing and people will continue to intermingle and your way of thinking will continue to die. The fact that you’re going to have to live through it and deal with it is the greatest punishment I can think of.
